TCP’s Commitment to Your Safety

The Community Players of New Hamburg is excited to be launching its 2022 season and sharing the joy of live theatre! TCP rehearsals are in full swing for the staging of its spring production, Murder on the Orient Express, from May 5-14, 2022, and we can’t wait to have you join us.  During the rehearsal process, and as we prepare to invite you back to our theatre, audience and cast safety has been top of mind.

TCP’s commitment to your safety

In the interest of all our actors, crew, and audience the following policies have been put in place:

  • Masks required – Due to the configuration of our stage, and no physical distancing of seats, we are requiring that all audience members wear a mask.
  • Actors rapid tested – our cast and crew are rapid tested prior to each performance.
  • Digital program – To avoid touchpoints we have a mobile-friendly digital program that can be easily viewed on your phone.
  • Vaccines recommended – while TCP strongly recommends full vaccination as the best protection against Covid-19, we are not requiring proof of vaccination for audience members.
  • Enhanced cleaning – we continue to clean all surfaces and touch points before each performance.
  • Virtual tickets – ticket ordering is online only. Feel free to print your tickets and show them to an usher or show them on your phone.
  • Theatre Capacity – we’ve limited the capacity of our theatre to 180 seats.

We understand that public health guidelines are continually being updated and, in consultation with public health officials, feel that these policies respect the safety of all involved: cast, crew, leadership team and you, our loyal patrons.
