Be Well!

Hard to believe that we are 18 days away from opening night!! Getting to this point has been a fun and exciting journey. We all want to make our run as successful as possible and to that end, we need to take care of ourselves and make sure we are healthy both for the sake of ourselves but for our castmates as well. Here are a few tips to help us accomplish this goal:

  1. Eat food that will nourish you in the best possible way.
  2. Get plenty of sleep.
  3. Drinks lots of fluids.
  4. Make sure that you are doing vocal and physical warmups prior to rehearsals/shows.

I am including a recipe for an immune booster tea that Andrea Gumz has forwarded to me.

2-3 Cups Echinacea tea (see image attached)

2 Tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp fresh ginger (I grate it with a tester or you can press it in a garlic press)

1 Tbsp maple syrup

A dash of cayenne pepper

Be Well! Nancy
