TCP Leadership Team

TCP Leadership Team

The TCP Leadership Team (Board) is a committed group of volunteers who steer the direction of future TCP productions. We remain committed to “presenting community theatre at it’s very best.”

We are always looking for potential team members to join the “TCP Family” in a leadership role. In recruitment of volunteers, we welcome the unique contributions that individuals can bring in terms of education, opinions, culture, ethnicity, race, sex, gender identity and expression, nation of origin, age, languages spoken, veteran’s status, colour, religion, disability, sexual orientation, beliefs, and background.

While all applications will be considered, TCP is currently in need of team members with the following strengths, experience, or passions:

  • Finance (book-keeping, investment, budgeting, an understanding of capital project fundraising, past treasurer experience);
  • Grant Writing (for both ongoing operational and capital projects);
  • Asset Management (inventorying, asset maintenance planning, organization); and
  • Equity and Inclusion.

Each team member has a different portfolio and time commitment varies depending on our show cycle. At a minimum team members commit to meeting once a month for two hours, either in person or virtually. Email communication between meetings is essential to propelling our non-profit organization forward and an ability to navigate (or be open to learning) Google Workspace tools is required. As we continue to experience growth, flexibility is also a necessary quality of successful applicants.

To apply for a position on TCP’s Leadership Team, please indicate your interest by emailing Nicole Cotie (President) at president@thecommunityplayers.com. The email should outline why you are interested in joining the leadership team and your strengths and experience that would be beneficial to our group.
